It is connected to the tractor from the drawbar. The pressure required for spraying is provided by hydraulic diaphragm pumps. The pump takes its motion from the tractor’s PTO (power take-off) shaft. Comet brand pumps are used as standard. The spray tank is made of reinforced fiberglass or polyethylene material. The turbo fan mounted on the machine generates pressurized air around it through a propeller driven by the tractor’s PTO shaft. The turbo fan drive is transferred through a gearbox (low/high speed – neutral position) as standard. The direction of the fan’s rotating blades can be adjusted to control the airflow rate. By adjusting the angle and direction of the nozzles on the fan, or by changing the plates, the spraying distance and amount of liquid applied can be regulated. Using the distributor valves on the regulator, spraying can be directed to the right side, left side, or both sides simultaneously. The turbo fan provides an average spraying distance. Optional Features: Additional attachments suitable for the turbo fan can be mounted. A hydraulic drawbar can be added to provide easier turning in narrow areas. A spray boom or hose reel can be attached to the rear of the turbo fan. A hose gun can be supplied as an optional accessory with the machine.
